Aim & Objectives
- To promote the general advancement of telecommunication engineering, electronics and multidisciplinary subjects and their application.
- To facilitate the exchange of information and ideas on these subjects amongst the IETE student members and faculties of the Institution.
- To organize conferences, symposia, seminars, workshops, etc. for dissemination of technological information amongst students and faculty members.
Inauguration of IETE Students Forum
IETE student’s forum of Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Hosur successfully organized the inaugural ceremony on 20th September 2013 at our college premises. The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Wg Cdr HR Parthasarathy (Retd), Governing council member and immediate past chairman of IETE, Dr. M H Kori, Former Chairman and Governing council member of IETE as Guest of Honour and the special Guest Prof.H.S.Bhatia, Honorary Secretary – IETE Bangalore Centre, Dr. G. Ranganath, Principal and Prof. Dr.T. Menakadevi, Coordinator IETE Students Forum of Adhiyamaan College of Engineering.

The chief guest gave a good description about wireless technology that it holds a lot of promises in solving today’s problems and tomorrows need. This technology utilizes the newly found modulation methods. These advances will make high speed data/voice-over-internet protocol (VOIP) networks a reality. His technical speech revealed that the benefits of wireless technology are that wires occupy lot of space and cost. Wireless technology reduces the risk of this for easy communication. Dr. G. Ranganath, principal, Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, insisted the gathering to encourage this kind of activities so that new ideas and innovations can be brought up from the students.

It covers the entire spectrum of the vital areas of 4G technologies, Mobile Computing, Soft Computing, Cloud Computing, Microwave & Optical communication, Information Theory, Digital & Medical Imaging Processing, VLSI & Embedded systems etc.
