Mission
About The Department
The Department of Civil Engineering started during 1993 -1994 is presently having an intake of 120. The Department is accredited during 2004 and reaccredited during 2007 by National Board of Accreditation of AICTE, New Delhi. Demonstrated capabilities of the department is endorsed by the ongoing sponsored and curiosity driven research projects.
The department has well equipped laboratory with the state-of-the art equipments. Dynamic, Experienced, Committed Faculty with more accountability is the strength of the department.
The core competence of the department is evidenced by the ongoing research programmers sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Space, Government of India, All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Ministry of Earth Sciences.
The department offers post graduate programmes in M.Tech in remote Sensing from the academics year 2009-2010. The advanced softwares are being used for training, research and consultancy works.
Department has been pursuing research project under Nationally Co-ordinated project of AICTE. The Remote Sensing data products like CartoSat, LISS IV are being handled by the department.
