About The Department :

The Department of Electrical And Electronics Engineering was established in the year 1992-1993.

The Department is headed by Dr.A.Veeraraghavan, who is having a vast experience in teaching and industry. He has published number of papers National and International journals as well as conferences.

He has been recognized as a supervisor for guiding Ph.D. and M.S. (by research) and scholars of Anna University.

The department is maintaining high quality of teaching and learning process with the help of well qualified faculty members.

Faculty:

The faculty members are postgraduates and doctorate.

Facilities:

Laboratories are well equipped. Good exposure is given to all the students to update their practical knowledge with the help of qualified instructors.

The Department is tuned for conducting research activities in Electrical Power Sector.

Achievements:

1. Mr. G.Prakash of 1993-1997 batch secured fourth rank in All India level IAS Cadre 2000 examination. Presently he is serving as IAS cadre in Tamilnadu.

2. Mr. S.R.Prakash & Mr. C.Sakayaraj of 1997 batch secured 4 th and 7 th rank respectively in the University examinations.
