About The Department

The Department was started in the year 1992-93 to fulfill the requirement in frontier technology of Instrumentation and Control in the area of Manufacturing, Power Plant, Petrochemical, Gas Industries etc and Industrial Automation. The Department is ISO 9001:2000 certified and is also accredited by National Board of Accreditation, AICTE, New Delhi. The Department has been inculcating moral values in addition to the curricular and co-curricular activities.

 

Faculties

All the faculties are with post graduation degree and have presented many papers in Inter-National and National conferences. They have attended seminars, workshops, FDP's and STTP's for their growth in turn to the enhancement of the quality of the education.

Facilities
The Department has well equipped laboratories with state-of-the art technology like SCADA in MODBUS network, HART based transmitters, PLC based realtime system, PC based Data Acquisition system, etc. There are additional facilities available to train the students in the area of PLC programming, SCADA development and Embedded System in line with the expectations of Industries.
