Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Department was incepted in the year 1992 with the state of the art infrastructure as per the norms and beyond. Ours is the first business school affiliated to the University of Madras after the Department of Management Studies of the University. It is dedicated to impart need based and result oriented management education to develop talented managers to face the Global challenges and align them to today's societal needs.
The Department offering two Post Graduate Programs namely two year MBA (Full time) and a three year MBA (Part time) under affiliation to Anna University Coimbatore. Both the programs are approved by AICTE and also accredited by AICTE National Board of Accretitation (NBA). The department also has the distinction of being an ISO 9001 : 2000 certified department. Our MBA department is listed as one of the top 100 B-Schools in the country by Business India and Dalal Street. The department is headed by the full time director supported by eminent faculty members are MBA degree holders while senior faculty members are Ph.D. and M.Phil. degree holders. The department has all teaching-learning facilities for providing quality management education.

Library Facilities
The department has a fully automated library with 6000 books of 2000 titles and about 500 CDs. Apart from text books, the library has National and International journals and some popular dailies. Moreover, online book reservation facility through intranet is also available in the department library. The department maintains an exclusive question bank in the library which comprises a collection of University Question papers and additional objective type questions prepared by the department faculty.
