About The Department
The department was incepted in the year 1991 with the state of the art infrastructure as per the norms and beyond. The department is led by Dr.G.Ranganath supported by 43 qualified, experienced faculty who have passion to teach. The department also offers PG programs in Computer Aided Design ( ME-CAD) since 2002 and Engineering Design(ME-ED) from 2005 onwards.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering provides high quality education and discipline. The Professors and Lecturers make it possible to give individual attention to the learners and to motivate them to achieve their professional goals. The curriculum structure of the department is designed to meet the present day requirement of Industries. The interaction between the staff and students is excellent and all the laboratories are well equipped as per requirements of the curriculum.
