About The Department
The Department of Electrical And Electronics Engineering was established in the year 1992-1993 with an intake of
UG- (Electrical & Electronics Engineering): 60
PG: (Power System Engineering):18.
The department is maintaining the high quality of teaching and learning process with the help of well qualified faculty members
Faculty
The faculty members are postgraduates and doctorate.
Facilities
Laboratories are well equipped. Good exposure is given to all the students to update their practical knowledge. Well qualified technicians are training the students in the practical sessions.
Achievements
The Students of EEE bring laurels to the department by their top performance in the University and Civil Service Examinations. Students of EEE undertake rich projects from NLC, BHEL, BELL, ISRO, CPRI, TITAN, TNEB, ASHOK LEYLAND and HINDUSTAN MOTORS and most of tech students have got placed immediately. The department is active in IEEE & ISTE Chapter with 240 enthusiastic student members. Mr.G.Prakash of same batch has appeared for IAS 2000 and secured 4th rank in all India level presently he is Sub-collector at Tuticorin.
