About the Department

The Department of Production Engineering was started in the year 1992 with well equipped lab facilities as per the norms of University. It is worth mentioning here that advanced facilities like Image analyzer, CATIA V5, Pro E, Autocad 2004, ANSYS V8.0, CNC Lathe and Milling Machines towards research activities are available keeping in mind the latest technology in this rapidly changing world.

The Department has conducted various short - term training programs, conferences and AICTE Sponsored seminars. It has been actively invloved in doing consultancy services to various Industries.
Highlights  

The Department has highly qualified, well experienced and dedicated contingent of staff members from various specialization with the capacity to organize seminars, conferences and workshops in the frontier areas of the manufacturing and management field. Every semester eminent personalities from various fields of engineering and technology are invited to deliver guest lectures . Students are encouraged to go for industrial visits and in-plant training to enhance their technical skills and to gain practical exposure. Best students in academic, sports and projects are identified and encouraged through awards.
